I'm fundraising for... my grandmother
13.1 miles for a cause close to my heart
This year I’ll be running the Philadelphia half marathon for someone incredibly special to me - my grandmother.
My grandmother is living with Alzheimer’s, a disease that slowly steals memories, moments, and pieces of the people we love. Watching someone you love go through this is heartbreaking, and something I wish no family ever had to experience.
This race is about so much more than crossing the finish line. Every mile I run will be for my grandmother, for the memories we hold onto, and for the families affected by Alzheimer’s.
I’m raising money to support the fight against this devastating disease, and I would be so grateful for any donation big or small. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this would mean just as much!
By participating in this event, I've committed to raising awareness and funds to advance the care, support, and research efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association®.
Currently, more than 6 million Americans have Alzheimer's disease, and that number is expected to grow to nearly 13 million by 2050. Our future is at risk, and we must come together to change the course of this disease.
Please support my efforts by making a donation. All funds raised benefit the Alzheimer's Association and its work to enhance care and support programs and advance research toward methods of treatment, prevention, and, ultimately, a cure for Alzheimer's disease. Thank you for joining the fight against Alzheimer’s disease!
