By participating in this event, I've committed to raising awareness and funds to advance the care, support, and research efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association®.

Currently, more than 6 million Americans have Alzheimer's disease, and that number is expected to grow to nearly 13 million by 2050. Our future is at risk, and we must come together to change the course of this disease.

For my Uncle Gron

In 2020, my Uncle, Ronald Nardozzi, passed away from Alzheimer’s. My Uncle was my rock, he mattered more to me than words could ever say. Losing him was the first time I felt grief, and losing him to Alzheimer’s at a relatively young age hurt me. I am running the Philadelphia Marathon in honor of him and in honor of all of the people in this world who suffer from Alzheimer’s.
