I'm fundraising in memory of Grammy.

My Grammy passed away in 2018 after suffering from Alzheimer's. I'm fundraising for this organization in memory of her and all the other families this disease affects in hopes that we can make a difference together. 

I'll be running in my first half marathon and although I know if Grammy were still here she would have preferred I picked a shopping marathon instead, I know that she would be there cheering me on the whole way. I'll be sure to dance my way through the finish line just for her with a smile on my face knowing that we are fundraising for a mission that means so much to my family. 

Currently, more than 6 million Americans have Alzheimer's disease, and that number is expected to grow to nearly 13 million by 2050. Our future is at risk, and we must come together to change the course of this disease.

All funds raised benefit the Alzheimer's Association and its work to enhance care and support programs and advance research toward methods of treatment, prevention, and, ultimately, a cure for Alzheimer's disease.
