It’s so hard to put into words what my mom went through, what our family went through, during the stages of her Alzheimer’s disease. It is a cruel and unrelenting disease. She was such a strong Christian woman, who embodied love, kindness, strength, and grace. Each passing day, as Alzheimer’s took away more and more of her, those things did not change. She was and will always be my inspiration. No one should have to battle this horrific disease and I continue to hope, pray and to donate, in the belief that a cure is possible, but we all have to be proactive in order for that to take place. The loss her death left behind, is indescribable. That magnitude of a loss can never be replaced or filled. I try to honor her every day by trying to be the best human being I can be, because that is what she taught me, that is what she was and that is what this world needs. I love you, Mom beyond words and miss you beyond measure!❤️❤️
