Hi Friends,
I am once again raising money and going for a big ski! This time just a one day event with a bunch of other likeminded Vermonters in an event called the Camels Hump Challenge. I love human powered skiing in the woods, pushing my own physical limits and helping fund research on a medical condition that the world needs less of.
I grew up in the shadow of this mountain - every day driving to school it hosted the sunrise. Then in 2021 I lived in my tiny house only 3 miles from its summit on Happy Hollow road in Huntington.
This race is a 13 mile backcountry loop around the mountain, ranging from 1350' to 3000' above sea level. Together the event is trying to raise 110,000 for Alzheimers research and I hope you'll consider making a small donation!
