Honoring Cindy Nielsen Denning

Cindy witnessed her mother and grandmother slowly lose themselves to Alzheimer's, and the fear of experiencing the same fate was always in the back of her mind.

Unfortunately, that fear became her reality. While she never lost her spirit, it was difficult for our family to watch her slowly forget the amazing experiences she had throughout her life, and cease to recognize the people she shared those memories with.

Witnessing her decline was a somber reminder that there is still so much to learn about this devastating disease. Throughout her life she supported many causes and charities in support of friends and family that were struggling with other debilitations. I thought creating this tribute page would be a good way to honor her memory and support the critical work of the Alzheimer's Association: providing care and support for families, advancing promising research and offering a lifeline through their free 24/7 Helpline (800.272.3900). Every dollar raised helps ensure that no one faces Alzheimer's alone.

I'd be so grateful if you would make a memorial gift in her name. It would mean a lot to me and those facing this relentless disease.

A future without Alzheimer's is out there. Let's get there, together.

Thank you in advance for your kindness and generosity.
