My most special Aunt and friend that my kids lovingly called Aunt Ernie is finally at rest. Alzheimer’s took away her ability to drive, her daily routine, her independence, her memory, many days it took her joy but never did it take her sense of humor and the love in her heart. My daughter and I got to see her a few weeks before she passed away and she was so happy to see us and when we would leave each day she said I love ya! This world is better because she was in it and I’m so thankful she was mine. Alzheimer’s is awful and we as her family have raised money for years to help with research in her honor and now we will do it in her memory to help other friends and loved ones. Love ya forever!!
