I am knitting to remember my aunt (2nd mom/grandmother) who just passed a few weeks ago. I will gift each of her daughters a cowl. I am also knitting for my grandmother, who taught me to knit when I was 7 and even now, when she has no idea who I am will watch me knit and I know it's connecting with something deep inside.
