By Fighting in Memory of Connie
In Loving Memory of Connie Gawarkiewicz
Earlier this year we lost my sweet sister, Connie, to Alzheimer's. She was first diagnosed with early onset in 2018. She suffered for 7 years from this dreadful disease. Connie was a warm, kind person with limitless empathy - she felt a responsibility to treat everyone she encountered in her life with a smile and respect. While the illness gradually took her personality, her core of compassion (and love of music) stayed with her until the end of her life. We were blessed to share some of her last days on this earth with her last November. We will cherish those memories. On Saturday, December 6th she would have celebrated her 66th birthday. Instead she will be celebrating her first birthday in heaven with those she loved that preceded her in death, namely her mother and father, Cynthia and Herman Limmer. We would be most grateful if on this "Giving Tuesday" you would remember Connie by making a memorial gift in her memory to help fight the disease that took her life way too early,In raising funds to support the critical work of the Alzheimer's Association: providing care and support for families, advancing promising research and offering a lifeline through their free 24/7 Helpline (800.272.3900) is essential to helping other families who are experiencing the awful days of watching a loved one who is battling this awful disease. Every dollar raised helps ensure that no one faces Alzheimer's alone.
A future without Alzheimer's is out there. Let's get there, together.
Thank you in advance for your kindness and generosity. Bill Limmer
