My Updates

Gratitude

Friday 15th May

Thank you all for your generosity! Words cannot express how thankful I am for each donation, overall support, and the encouragement you’ve shared for my run.

For those of you who don't know, this cause is near and dear to my heart. Not only do I personally have several of the highest risk factors for Alzheimer’s, but my family (and friends) have experienced the heartbreaking effects of dementia far too many times.

One of the biggest reasons I choose to run, and why I committed to taking better care of my body and brain, is because brain health truly matters. Movement, social connection, prioritizing sleep, and diet are some of the few things we can control, and I’m determined to do everything in my power to protect my future and honor those we’ve lost.

Supporting the Alzheimer’s Association means supporting earlier diagnosis, better care, and meaningful resources for people at every stage of their dementia journey. It also fuels critical research into prevention and treatments that could change the future for families like mine.

Thank you for helping me make a difference. Your support fuels every mile and brings us closer to a future without Alzheimer’s. (Picture of my grandpa, one of my first "whys")
