On February 13, 2026, we said goodbye to our beloved Joe, who passed away peacefully at the age of 81. He was a devoted father and grandfather, a dedicated public servant, and a man who lived his life with purpose, curiosity, and quiet strength.
Joe’s greatest joy was his family. He cherished every moment spent together, whether sharing stories or simply enjoying a laugh. He had a love of adventure, a playful sense of humor, and a gift for friendship that drew people to him. He served his community and his country with pride, and the impact he made on those around him will continue to ripple forward for years to come.
While we mourn his passing, we also celebrate the life he lived and the countless memories he leaves behind. His legacy lives on in the family he loved and in the many lives he touched through his service, kindness, and steadfast example.
In his memory, we ask that donations be made to support research for Alzheimer’s disease, in the hope that one day other families may be spared this journey.
He will be deeply and dearly missed, and forever remembered with love.
