Recreational Therapy & Future Geriatric Populations

My name is Emma Davila and I work as a Recreational Therapy Coordinator at a psychiatric hospital, which has been for the last 10 years. Along my time there I have always fundraised and worked as team captain for the walk to end Alzheimer’s annually in Huntington Beach. Lately, my husband and I joined a bowling league at Irvine Lanes in Irvine, CA that starts in February. Bowling will be my activity to raise funds and awareness for both Alzheimer’s and for the community of bowing and recreational therapeutic hobbies and activities that we could all enjoy and benefit from.
