A Legacy of Love: Honoring Carmen Torrellas de Aldea Martin

Our mother, Carmen Torrellas de Aldea Martin, was the heart of our family—loving, selfless, and full of grace. She gave so much to others and never asked for anything in return. Even as Alzheimer’s slowly took her memory, it could never take away her laughter, her warmth, or the love she poured into all of us.

Walking alongside her through this journey was one of the hardest things we have ever done, but it also reminded us of the power of presence, prayer, and unconditional love. Alzheimer’s not only affects the person living with it, but also every family member and caregiver who shares the burden.
