She will be missed!
Our family just suffered the loss of such a wonderful person after a prolonged journey with dementia. A devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Pieta always placed her family above all else. She was a bright, practical woman whose wisdom and strength left a lasting impression on those around her. She found joy in gardening and took great pride in creating a warm and welcoming home.
In lieu of flowers at her funeral, our family would prefer memorials to be directed to support the critical work of the Alzheimer's Association: providing care and support for families, advancing promising research and offering a lifeline through their free 24/7 Helpline (800.272.3900). Every dollar raised helps ensure that no one faces Alzheimer's alone.
