Fulton Montgomery Regional Chamber of Commerce Co-Hosts the Event

Tuesday 28th Apr
The Fulton County Center for Regional Growth’s Gloversville Downtown Development Specialist, in partnership with the Fulton Montgomery County Regional Chamber of Commerce, is proud to announce the launch of “Paint Downtown Gloversville Purple.” This initiative will run from June 1 through June 6, 2026, aimed at raising awareness and funds for the Alzheimer’s Association. Representatives from the Fulton County Center for Regional Growth and the Fulton Montgomery County Regional Chamber of Commerce will be visiting downtown businesses in the coming weeks to distribute flyers featuring QR codes. These codes will allow patrons to make seamless digital donations directly to the cause.

From the Chamber: The Fulton Montgomery Regional Chamber of Commerce is proud and excited to partner with The Fulton County Center for Regional Growth’s Gloversville Downtown Development Specialist to “Paint Downtown Gloversville Purple.”  In the coming weeks, we will be visiting local businesses throughout our community as we work toward our shared goal of turning Gloversville purple. This initiative is more than just a visual show of support. It is a powerful reminder of the impact we can make when we come together as a community.
Alzheimer’s is a fight that touches so many lives. It affects our parents, grandparents, friends, neighbors, and colleagues. Many families in our region are facing this journey right now, navigating the emotional and physical challenges that come with it. This fundraiser is personal for so many, and it is an opportunity for all of us to stand beside those families and show that they are not alone.
By participating, your business can play a role in raising awareness, supporting research, and bringing hope to those impacted by this disease. Whether through decorations, donations, or simply spreading the word, every effort helps move us closer to a future without Alzheimer’s.
We are truly looking forward to connecting with each of you, hearing your stories, and working together to make a difference. Let’s come together, support one another, and Paint the Town Purple for a cause that means so much to so many.
