Our family is honoring the life of our mother, Joan Alvaro, who passed away after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease.
Joan was a smart and hardworking woman, a loving mother and Nana, and someone whose kindness and humor brightened every room. She built a successful career, cared deeply for her family, and found joy in music, dancing, and time with those she loved most.
Alzheimer’s took too much from her and from our family far too soon. In her memory, we invite you to support the Alzheimer’s Association and their work to advance research, care, and support for those affected by this disease.
