One does not know what treasures they have until they are gone. I was able to talk with my mom nearly every day for 60 years until Alzheimers started to impact her life, our lives. She was wise, brave, generous, kind, funny and creative. Alzheimers slowly took all of this away from her. Leaving her afraid and silent. She tried to smile through it all. Her beautiful smile will never be forgotten. Her spirit remained strong.
A future without Alzheimer's is out there. Let's get there, together.
Thank you in advance for your kindness and generosity.
