In Loving Memory of Barbara Halfmann
On June 28th, Barbara Brown Halfmann passed away after an extremely long battle with Alzheimer's. She was a beloved wife, mother, sister, and dedicated friend.
Barb lived with a generous spirit, always ready with a warm smile, a kind word, and a helping hand. She was always ready for a new adventure, coffee date with friends, a good laugh, or a long walk. She wanted to be doing something, anything, always active and moving around. Professionally, Barb found great reward in teaching - both Adults & Children. Raised Catholic, she was dedicated to her faith and integrated that with teaching at Catholic Schools.
Barb battled with the diagnosis of Alzheimer's for over a decade. The slow decline led to many changes throughout the years and loss in quality of life. 5 Years were spent in a Care Home (which we are thankful to have had access to), however not the future Mom would have chosen for herself.
In her memory, we ask that donations be made to support research aimed at ending Alzheimer’s disease, so that future generations may be spared from this devastating illness.

So sorry for your loss. I really enjoyed your Mom. She really had an enthusiasm for life.
