Music for Memories

Join us for the 3rd Annual Music for Memories, an evening of live music, community, and purpose.

On Saturday, August 15th, we’ll gather at 7 Locks Brewing in Rockville for a special night of performances from Marilyn Hucek and two incredible guest singer-songwriters (to be announced). Together, we’ll raise our voices and funds in support of the Alzheimer's Association.

Music for Memories is dedicated to raising awareness and support for those affected by Alzheimer’s, including caregivers and families.

This night is deeply personal to me. We dedicate Music for Memories to my dad, Richard Hucek, my hero, who lived with Alzheimer’s for over a decade. As the years unfolded and words slowly slipped away, music stayed. It lingered where language could not. He would sit at the piano and something in him would light up. A melody could still reach him, still move through him. Music became our way back to each other.

Let’s turn up the volume for the ones we love. Let’s celebrate the power of song to connect, comfort, and carry memory forward.
