In memory of Gabriel (Gaby) Elissa
Gaby lived a life filled with love, friendship and kindness. He had a special gift for making people laugh, feel comfortable, welcome and cared for. He loved to socialize and invite people over for a meal, even those he just met. His infectious smile and humble, self-deprecating humor will be deeply missed.
Gaby loved traveling, keeping up and spending time with his immediate & extended family and especially loved playing chess. He also thoroughly enjoyed leading bible study classes at Cuyahoga Falls Methodist Church in Akron, Ohio.
Having seen our beloved Gaby suffer from Alzheimer's and experiencing the stress and difficulty of caregiving, we wanted to contribute to the effort to overcome this dreadful disease. Our wish is that a cure will be developed soon to avoid future generations of having to experience this illness.
Thank you for helping us remember Gaby and the wonderful life he shared with us.
