This year's Challenge
Last year’s Camel’s Hump Challenge was especially meaningful to me. I skied in honor of my dad, Yurij, who served on the organizing committee for many years. My dad and I completed the Challenge together several times, and those memories mean a great deal to me.
This year, as I prepare to take on the Challenge for the fifth time, I do so in memory of my Uncle Dick Williams, who passed away from complications of Alzheimer’s disease on Thanksgiving Day last year. I witnessed firsthand the effects of Alzheimer’s on my uncle and the profound impact it had on my Aunt Renata.
It is a privilege to participate in the Camel’s Hump Challenge in support of the Alzheimer’s Association and the vital work they do for individuals and families affected by this disease. I hope you will consider supporting my ski and helping to make a difference.
Thank you.
