After our family lost Steve to Dementia and early Alzheimer's, we know how hard this journey is. We want to honor his memory in a way that would make a difference.
By creating a tribute page in his name, maybe some day soon there will be a cure to save others from this heart-breaking journey. In his final days, he was surrounded with love from those that treausred him and a couple fun outings. He loved the horse races & he got to watch them run and then a trip to the mountains.

Stephen Edward Delahunty passed away on August 8, 2026, at the age of 76, after a difficult and courageous journey with severe dementia and early Alzheimer’s disease over the past several years. He will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his musical talents and , many years working for Cherry Creek schools. His memory will continue to live on through his children, grandchildren, family, and friends. Thank you in advance for your kindness and generosity and in supporting this important step toward finding a cure for this disease and difficult journey that many face. It impacts not only the person with this disease, but the people that surround them. .
