For My Beloved Father.

I lost my father a year before he ever took his last breath. No one can prepare you for the moment you look into your father’s eyes and no longer see your reflection.  This disease erased a lifetime of memories from him. I was a stranger to him, and even though I was almost 50 years old I felt like a little girl who never existed to the man she measured all others by. I will never get over that. So, after Alzheimer’s took him from us I knew I couldn't just stand by. I wanted to honor his memory in a way that would make a difference. . That's why I joined the fight to end this devastating disease by creating this tribute page in his name.

By taking this step, I'm raising funds to support the critical work of the Alzheimer's Association: providing care and support for families, advancing promising research and offering a lifeline through their free 24/7 Helpline (800.272.3900). Every dollar raised helps ensure that no one faces Alzheimer's alone.

I'd be so grateful if you would make a memorial gift in his name. It would mean a lot to me and those facing this relentless disease.

A future without Alzheimer's is out there. Let's get there, together. Maybe someday no other daughter will lose the greatest man she’s ever known to this thief of memories and great minds

Thank you in advance for your kindness and generosity.
