In loving memory of my cherished family members, This donation to the Alzheimer's Association is made in your honor. Though Alzheimer's may have touched our family, it can never erase the love, memories, and legacy you both left behind. You are forever in our hearts, deeply missed, and lovingly remembered. May this contribution help bring hope to other families and support the search for a cure. With love always, Jacqueline, Dávon & Brooklynn ❤️

Rooted in Love: Crizette Woods on Family, Memory, and Alzheimer’s

Monday 1st Jun

Our partnership with the Alzheimer’s Association is deeply personal and rooted in our commitment to the fight to end Alzheimer’s.

This disease has profoundly affected my family. My mother, Sylvia, and my oldest brother, Van, both lost their lives to Alzheimer’s. Today, my sister Bedelia is courageously battling it. We have witnessed firsthand the heartbreaking progression. Watching vibrant and strong personalities become trapped within their own minds. And yet, even as memory fades, something powerful remains. Their spirit, their essence and their personality still shines through their eyes.

Alzheimer’s is relentless. It is a long and painful journey. Not only for those diagnosed, but for the families who love and care for them. That is why we are not just raising awareness! We are joining the fight to end Alzheimer’s!

This partnership is about action. It’s about advancing research, accelerating the search for treatments, and pushing toward a cure. It’s about standing with an organization that is leading the charge, while also providing critical guidance, resources, and support to families navigating this disease every day.

The rising statistics are alarming, and they demand urgency. We must do more to change the trajectory, to not only slow this disease, but to stop it. To ensure access to affordable care and treatment for all. To give families hope where there has been too much heartbreak.

We are proud to stand in this fight to honor those we’ve lost, to support those still battling, and to help drive the movement to end Alzheimer’s once and for all.
