What Is Queer Crush?

For those of you who are finding this page through the fundraiser for the Alzheimer's Association and who haven't joined us for Queer Crush before-- WELCOME. Please come out and climb (or just hang out). Here's what we're all about: 

Queer Crush is a 501(c)3 non-profit established in May 2018 in Los Angeles, California. Since then, Queer Crush has expanded to over 30 chapters primarily in the western United States.

We host indoor and outdoor rock climbing meetups with the goal of creating safe and inclusive spaces for those who are diverse in their gender, romantic, and sexual orientations. Our events are open to individuals of all genders, romantic and sexual orientations, races, creeds, ages and abilities.

A Special April Queer Crush

Monday 30th Mar
Join Queer Crush for our monthly Thursday meet up at Sender One LAX! 

This month is a special event in collaboration with the Alzheimer's Association. We will be learning more about prevention and the steps towards ending a disease that affects over seven million Americans. 

There will be a friendly climbing competition and quiz on Alzheimer's facts in order to win some amazing raffle prizes, including free Sender One passes! 

There will be food, beverages, and good times all around. The meet up will take place 7 PM- 9 PM at Sender One LAX.

On a personal note, I've been leading the Queer Crush meet up at Sender One LAX for over two years now. I lost my father this last year, after a five year battle with Alzheimer's. I am really excited to raise awareness for those also affected by this disease in a space that is all about promoting physical and mental well being. I hope to see you on the wall April 16th.
