My good friend Dave was lost to Alzheimer's Disease this year. My visits with him over the past few years have driven home how important it is to provide thoughtful care and support to those who are affected by Alzheimer's, and to accelerate work towards prevention and treatment.

It has been a pretty good winter for training so far, though another few inches of snow will help in the back country.  I've enjoyed skiing with my friend Andrew Milliken to get ready for the big day.
