The Washburn Challenge is part of Do What You Love to End ALZ, a signature fundraising event of the Alzheimer’s Association. Funds raised invest in research, provide support to families facing Alzheimer's and dementia, raise brain health awareness and advocate on behalf of all those affected.
We are so grateful for this community and the continued enthusiasm and support of the Washburn Challenge. So many loves ones have been affected, but hope is on the horizon, primarily because of organizations like the Alzheimer’s Association. Over the past three years more progress has been made than over the past 30! The Washburn Challenge has made a significant contribution to this progress! The moment for Alzheimer's is NOW. The time to keep this momemtum moving forward is NOW. From bio-marker and blood tests, to treatments that are working, brain health initiatives and very promising, exciting research coming in the near future, there has never been more hope. THANK YOU for your participation and support!
The Washburn Challenge has raised over $1,220,000 since it began in 2017. Last year we were ranked as the #3 event in the country, raising $265,609!!
We invite you to register and get started on your fundraising! We ask each participant to set a $1,000 goal so together we can continute to make a significant impact and contribute another $250,000+ to fight this insideous disease. As with every Washburn Challenge, every dollar raised goes directly to the Alzheimer’s Association to fund their mission. Let's do this!!!
The Washburn Challenge is one of many fundraising activities taking place around the globe in support of Do What You Love to End ALZ: the do-it-yourself fundraising event of the Alzheimer's Association. People pick any activity and date to invite friends, family and communities to participate and donate.
