In Memory of María Elena Perez: A Legacy of Love and Strength

Our beloved mother, María Elena Pérez, was a woman of incredible strength, unwavering faith, and unconditional love. She was a devoted wife of 59 years, a loving mother to 11 children, and a proud grandmother to 28 grandchildren. Family was everything to her, and she dedicated her life to making sure we were loved, cared for, and given every opportunity to succeed.

Our mom was a remarkable woman who touched countless lives. She was actively involved in her church, her children's education, and her community. Whether she was preparing a delicious homemade meal, sewing a special dress, offering words of wisdom, or opening her home to others, she always found ways to show her love.

For many years, our family watched as Alzheimer's slowly took away pieces of the vibrant, strong, and independent woman we knew. It was heartbreaking to witness her gradual decline, but even as her memories faded, our love for her never did.

On August 28, 2026, our beautiful mother passed away at the age of 87. Although we miss her terribly, we find comfort in knowing that she is now at peace and that her legacy lives on through her children, grandchildren, and everyone whose life she touched.
