Audrey's fundraiser for the Camel's Hump Challenge

By participating in this event, I've committed to raising awareness and funds to advance the care and support efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association®. Having now experienced the sadness and challenges of both my mother and grandfather having dimentia, I realized that so many of us are touched by knowing someone who has suffered with this debilitating disease.
As caregivers, it can be so hard to know how to best
support our loved ones with the disease as well as family members and friends who are also navigating the roles of caregivers.
Personally, getting out in the wilderness on skis, foot or bike helps me process the sadness, frustrations, and complexity of the disease. It also helps me connect with my mom who loved walks in the woods, nature and especially birds and flowers. This is why I have chosen the Camel's Hump Challenge to help fund raise for the Alzheimer's Association to help all who are effected by this disease.
Currently, more than 6 million Americans have Alzheimer's disease, and that number is expected to grow to nearly 13 million by 2050. Our future is at risk, and we must come together to change the course of this disease.
Please support my efforts by making a donation. Funds raised support the educational programs and services offered free of charge by the Alzheimer's Association, Vermont Chapter. Thank you for joining the fight against Alzheimer’s disease!
