Why I'm fighting Alzheimer's

I've always been into neuroscience. There's something about how the brain works that just gets me. My grandpa had MND, and watching what he went through changed everything for me. It made me want to understand more about these diseases that affect people's minds and bodies.

Alzheimer's really gets to me because of what it takes away. The thought of someone forgetting the people they love most is heartbreaking. That's why I joined the Alzheimer's Association's NextGen Leaders program.
