I'm fundraising to honor my brother Scott and his wife Jenny, both whom were diagnosed with early-onset and passed before turning 60. My uncle Larry. My father. My mother who did not have Alzheimer's but suffered from vascular dementia before passing in 2021. And all those family, extended family, friends, and strangers who have to cope with someone who's mental capacity slowly withers away.

By participating in this event, I've committed to raising awareness and funds to advance the care and support efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association®.

Currently, more than 6 million Americans have Alzheimer's disease, and that number is expected to grow to nearly 13 million by 2050. Our future is at risk, and we must come together to change the course of this disease.

I'm Back!

Winter of 2025 was my first year of missing the CHC event since 2017 due to an injury, I am back to raise funds and ski around the Hump this year to raise awareness and support those that deal with loved ones who have dementia. 
My brother Scott, and his wife Jenny, were both diagnosed with early-onset coincidentally when each of them turned 50. Also coincidentally, they both passed days before their respective 60th birthday. (2020 and 2024) Others in our family have had or currently have some form of dementia, from my mother who passed in 2021, to her brother (my dear Uncle Larry) who is now coping with Alzheimer's. This is not an affliction that I would wish on anyone.
Please help me honor those people and their caregivers by donating to my campaign to raise money for the Vermont Alzheimer's Association, while sharing my deep love for the mountains and appreciation for this precious, yet challenging gift of life.
