Tom Harm - Honoring our Dad

Our Dad was 89 years old when he passed of heart disease.  He lived a life committed to his wife, Nancy and 5 kids along with a strong commitment to his 25 years of service in the U.S. Air Force. He was a proud scoutmaster and was co-founder of a nonprofit youth organization, in Schertz, called Buffalo Valley Youth Association (BVYA). Over 50 years later, BVYA remains a thriving nonprofit that serves local youth through sports programs.

Nearly 20 years ago, our Mom was afflicted with Alzheimer's.  My Dad stood beside her every step of the way; through the tender moments and through the devastation of the illness. Since her passing, he has been an ardent supporter of the Alzheimer's Association, and we know he would be grateful for donations to be made to the Alzheimer's Association in lieu of flowers.
