Celebrating the Beautiful Life of Beverly LaValle

We created this tribute to honor the life of our mother, Beverly LaValle—a woman whose warm, generous heart touched everyone who knew her.

Beverly lived with Alzheimer’s for ten years. It was incredibly painful to witness her decline. While her spirit shined brightly throughout the many years, she struggled with the loss of her cognition, often saying, "There is no dignity in this!" In a way, she found peace when the disease progressed to the point where she no longer realized what she was losing. She kept her mostly happy composure until the end — trying to sing along with her favorite songs even when she didn’t remember the words, always with that beautiful, trademark smile.
