Why Team ALZ

I’ll be running in memory of my grandparents, Lila and Howard Gold, who both passed from complications of Alzheimer’s disease. Watching their progression with the disease as a teenager and young adult left a lasting impact on me, and I’m both thrilled and so grateful to be able to run in support of a mission that is deeply meaningful to me and my family.

For the last 10+ years, I've been involved with the Westchester and Rockland chapters of the Walk to End Alzheimer’s (shoutout team #GoForGold)! I’ve seen firsthand how important research, advocacy, and support are for both diagnosed individuals and their loved ones, and I'm thrilled to further my involvement with this cause.
