Why Team ALZ
I’m running in memory of my grandparents, Lila and Howard Gold, who both passed from complications of Alzheimer’s disease. Watching their disease progress as a teenager and young adult left a lasting impact on me, and I’m so grateful to be able to run in support of a mission that is deeply meaningful to me and my family.
For the last 10+ years, I've been involved with the Westchester and Rockland chapters of the Walk to End Alzheimer’s (shoutout team #GoForGold)! I’ve seen firsthand how important advocacy and support are for both those suffering and their loved ones, and I'm proud to further my involvement with this cause.
