Be part of the 2026 TCS New York City Marathon and take a stand in the fight to end Alzheimer’s. As an official charity partner, the Alzheimer’s Association - NYC Chapter invites you to run with purpose on Sunday, November 1, 2026. Every step you take raises awareness, fuels critical research, and supports families affected by Alzheimer’s disease.

Fundraising Commitment:

  • $5,000 minimum fundraising goal (guaranteed race entry)
  • $3,000 minimum fundraising goal (for runners with their own entry)
  • Deadline to complete fundraising: Funds must be raised or contributed before race day (Sunday, November 1, 2026)

 
 

Our Team Timeline:

May 2026 – Runner Notifications Begin

Selected runners will be contacted with next steps, fundraising details, and training resources.

June 2026 – Training Kicks Off + Monthly Virtual Check-Ins

Virtual team check-ins begin alongside a professional training program and Zoom meetings to keep you motivated, informed, and connected.

November 1, 2026 – Race Day + Fundraising Deadline

All fundraising must be raised or contributed before race day to ensure your participation.

How is the money collected?

Submitting donations to the Alzheimer’s Association is quick and easy.  Donations can be made online, by submitting a check or money order by mail and hand-delivering cash, checks or money orders to the Illinois Chapter located at 2200 Cabot Dr., Suite 460, Lisle, IL 60532.

What if I don't reach my fundraising minimum?

By agreeing to utilize a guaranteed entry with this team, you also agree to fulfill the fundraising requirement. You can make a personal donation to make up the difference.
