Skiing the Camels Hump Challenge for Papa
Hi there, I’m George Kermond and this year I will be participating in the Camels Hump Challenge for the second year to raise awareness and funds to advance care, support, and research efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association. This is a cause near and dear to my heart as my Papa passed away due to Alzheimer’s last February. My Papa was like sunshine on a cloudy day, and lived his life with so much love and kindness. I carry him in my heart every day and he inspires me to be the best version of myself. I love you and miss you Papa, I am skiing this challenge for you!
Currently, more than 6 million Americans have Alzheimer's disease, and that number is expected to grow to nearly 13 million by 2050. Our future is at risk, and we must come together to change the course of this disease.
