I'm fundraising for my grandma Betty!
This year, I’m honored to be running the 2026 New York City Marathon in support of the Alzheimer’s Association. Some of my earliest memories with my Grandma Betty are of watching this disease slowly take her away. I never had the chance to truly know the remarkable woman she was before Alzheimer’s stole her memories, and I witnessed the profound heartbreak it brought to my family. As I grew older, I began to realize that our story was not unique. Almost every friend I met had a loved one, family member, or someone close to them affected by this terrible disease. After studying neuroscience in college, I came to understand the urgent need for continued research and the hope it brings to millions of families. I’m running in honor of my grandmother and every person impacted by Alzheimer’s. Every donation helps support critical research, care, and resources for families affected by this devastating disease.
