By participating in this event, I've committed to raising awareness and funds to advance the care, support, and research efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association®.
Currently, more than 6 million Americans have Alzheimer's disease, and that number is expected to grow to nearly 13 million by 2050. Our future is at risk, and we must come together to change the course of this disease.
Please support my efforts by making a donation. All funds raised benefit the Alzheimer's Association and its work to enhance care and support programs and advance research toward methods of treatment, prevention, and, ultimately, a cure for Alzheimer's disease. My reason
I’m running the New York City Marathon in memory of my father, Kwock Kam, and his wife Syble. They both were diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. Syble around 2008 and passed away in 2014. My father was diagnosed in 2020 and passed away in 2025. I know what it’s like to watch my father take care of my stepmother with love and tenderness. When it came time for me to be the caregiver for my father I followed in his footsteps and tried my best to show the same love and support. I know what it’s like to watch someone go through this horrible disease and also the changes to one’s personal life to take on the demands of a caregiver. Any support as I fundraise to end Alzheimer’s for all is appreciated.Thank you to my Donors
