I'm fundraising to help advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association
I’m incredibly excited and honored to be running the New York City Marathon with Team ALZ, supporting a cause that holds a special meaning for me and my family.
I’ve seen firsthand the impact Alzheimer’s can have—not only on those diagnosed, but on the loved ones who walk alongside them. My parents cared for my grandmother through her journey with Alzheimer’s, and I witnessed the challenges, heartbreak, and strength that come with being a caregiver.
As meaningful as this cause is to me, I’m also looking forward to the personal challenge of running 26.2 miles through the streets of New York City. I initially stumbled into long-distance running after joining a few friends who were training. What started somewhat casually quickly turned into a passion for the challenge, and I’ve been putting in the miles week after week to prepare for this incredible day.
I’m proud to have the opportunity to combine a personal milestone with a cause that means so much to my family.
