My mother Victoria Hayslett Walker was truly an amazing woman. She was strong, independent, and loving. My mother was the bravest person I have ever known. Watching my mother lose her independence and her health decline due to dementia is one of the most devastating experiences of my life. After losing my loved one to Alzheimer's, I knew I couldn't just stand by. I wanted to honor their memory in a way that would make a difference. That's why I joined the fight to end this devastating disease by creating this tribute page in their name.
