I'm fundraising for...

I'm fundraising in honor of my dad, Ken Stone, who died of Alzheimer's on October 21st. His experience with the disease and it's impact on my mother, our family and those who cared about him have motivated me to help raise funds for the support and education that this organization offers. It also makes me keenly aware that we need more research to understand, treat, intervene early or - better yet - prevent the onset of this awful disease. Anything you might contribute will be greatly appreciated and put towards support groups that help caregivers like my mother, education for other loved ones like me and my brother, Eric, and other efforts that help people cope with the significant changes this disease brings into the lives of those affected. 

By participating in this event, I've committed to raising awareness and funds to advance the care and support efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association®.

Currently, more than 6 million Americans have Alzheimer's disease, and that number is expected to grow to nearly 13 million by 2050. Our future is at risk, and we must come together to change the course of this disease.
