In Honor of Louis F. Grande, Jr. "Poppies"

My dad was the strongest and smartest man I knew.  To see him fade away to this horrible disease was heartbreaking.

My dad was the strongest and smartest man I knew.  He worked in the Aerospace industry and was an intricate part of the Space Shuttle, Titan Missels and Viking Project to Mars teams.  To see him fade away to this horrible disease was heartbreaking.  He never lost his smile and still was full of love.  We were blessed for that.   I would like to honor his memory in a way that would make a difference. That's why I joined the fight to end this devastating disease by creating this tribute page in his name. By taking this step, I'm raising funds to support the critical work of the Alzheimer's Association: providing care and support for families, advancing promising research and offering a lifeline through their free 24/7 Helpline (800.272.3900). Every dollar raised helps ensure that no one faces Alzheimer's alone. I'd be so grateful if you would make a memorial gift in his name. It would mean a lot to us and those facing this relentless disease.  A future without Alzheimer’s/Dementia is out there. Let's get there, together.  Thank you in advance for your kindness and generosity.
