Together, we commemorate the life of
Portia Warner

In Loving Memory of Portia Warner
Our beloved Portia passed away on September 4, 2026, with the love of her life and husband of 42 years by her side.Portia spent her life caring for, teaching, encouraging, and giving to others. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, teacher, and friend. She believed in kindness, in helping people, and in quietly making the world around her a little better. Alzheimer’s changed many things in the final chapter of her life, but it could never change the love she gave, the lives she touched, or the person she was.In her memory, our family has created this tribute page to support the Alzheimer’s Association and its work toward a future in which other families do not have to experience the heartbreak of this disease.Donations made in Portia’s memory will help support Alzheimer’s research as well as care, education, and resources for individuals living with Alzheimer’s and the families who love and care for them.If you would like to honor Portia, we would be deeply grateful for a memorial gift in her name. Whether you knew her personally or simply want to support a cause that became so meaningful to our family, your kindness means more than we can say.We will remember Portia not for the disease that touched the end of her life, but for the life she lived before it—the lessons she taught, the people she cared for, the family she loved, and the kindness she showed so freely.May supporting the fight against Alzheimer’s be one more way that her kindness continues.

I will always remember our afternoon at Portia’s. She welcomed my family many times. We are sorry for your loss, Glen, Kate, and Maggie. We will be thinking of you and add you all to our prayers. Hugs from Kansas.
