I'm fundraising for... My Family
This year, I’m running the New York City Marathon with the Alzheimer’s Association in honor of family members I hold close to my heart. 💜
I’m not just running for them, but with them—and for every family affected by this disease. I’m running for the strength I’ve witnessed, the memories we hold onto, and the hope that keeps us moving forward in the search for a cure.
From the inside looking out, this disease puts everything into perspective. One day, Alzheimer’s is something you’ve only heard about, and the next, it finds its way into a family and home that never expected it. When it becomes real life, you start holding onto stories, moments, and small reminders to slow down and appreciate what you have. In those moments, you also realize how powerful love really is. Through friends, family, and community, we’re reminded of what there is to be grateful for—even when things feel hard.
Over the years, I’ve cheered on my friends through training and race day, watching them push themselves in ways that quietly inspired me more than I realized at the time. From the sidelines, I thought about how strong they looked, how much joy they seemed to find in it—and eventually, I knew I wanted to be part of it too.
I’m running and fundraising to support Alzheimer’s care, research, and awareness because I truly believe in a future with more answers, more support, and more hope for families navigating this journey.
I would be so grateful for any donation, share, or word of encouragement as I prepare. I’ll be carrying those affected by this disease with me every step of the way, especially the people who have motivated and supported me to pursue this dream. I’m grateful to be sharing this journey with you—turning a run into something bigger than myself—and I appreciate your support more than you know. 💜

Liv...this has touched my side of the family too. Thank you for running and choosing this charity to support.🏃🏼♀️🩷
