Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. My mother, Flora Lucci, was the heart of our family- a steady presence, a gentle guide, and a source of unconditional love that shaped who I am today. She showed her love through cooking, taking care of her family and bringing loved ones together.
In her later years, she faced dementia, an illness that slowly tried to take pieces of her away. Even as memories faded, her spirit never did. In those quiet, difficult days we held hands, watched the Food Network, listened to Italian music, and were still able to laugh and find joy.
She will always be the strong, loving, beautiful woman who gave so much of herself to others. In honor of my wedding to Mary in the church that my mother was married in, I created this tribute page to help others combat Dementia and Alzheimer's Disease.
Mom, thank you for everything. You will be always be with me.
