I'm fundraising for my Mom

I’ve always wanted to follow in my mom's footsteps and run the NYC marathon like she did in her 30s, when she was living in the city. I am honored to be running this year for my mom through the Alzheimer's Association.
Since being diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimer's at age 59, things have changed quickly for my mom and for my family. Watching my mom live with Alzheimer's disease has been both difficult and rewarding. I’ve learned the importance of being kind to everyone, because you truly never know what someone is going through.
I’ve also learned the importance of community, research, support programs, destigmatization, and everything else the Alzheimer's Association offers. I am running to end ALZ for everyone affected by this disease.
Please support my efforts by making a donation. All funds raised benefit the Alzheimer's Association and its work to enhance care and support programs and advance research toward methods of treatment, prevention, and, ultimately, a cure for Alzheimer's disease. Thank you for joining the fight against Alzheimer’s disease!
