In Honor of Sally Ann Bowles

After losing Mom to Alzheimer's, we knew that in lieu of a service, we wanted to honor her memory in a way that would make a difference. That's why we joined the fight to end this devastating disease by creating this tribute page in her name.We can tell you first hand that this disease is devastating.  It started over 7-8 years ago with her starting to forget people (even us) and progressed to her being unable to remember how to care for herself.  Watching her confusion, anxiety and mental decline was much harder than it was watching Dad (Rodney) die of cancer.  She was there physically, but she wasn't there as Mom anymore.  We also want to thank the following people who took such good care of Mom when we were far away: Phil and Lynne Embury, Danielle Bohn and Nancy Wolcott We would be so grateful if you would make a memorial gift in her name.
