Running the 2026 TCS NYC Marathon for TEAM ALZ
This fall, I'll be running the New York City Marathon on November 1st to raise funds for the Alzheimer's Association as a member of TEAM ALZ. This will be my first marathon, and I'm honored to be running it for such a meaningful cause.
Alzheimer's is personal to me. My grandfather was one of the greatest influences in my life, a physician, a devoted family man, and quite honestly, the best granddad a kid could ask for. We spent summers together playing wiffle ball in the driveway and logging countless hours at their cabin in Tahoe. In 2018, he wrote me a letter sharing that he was experiencing the early signs of Alzheimer's. Having watched his father and two brothers lose their battles with the disease, he understood what it could mean. He passed away not long after, before Alzheimer's could fully take hold. That letter was his way of saying goodbye while he was still whole, and it is something I will carry with me for the rest of my life.
The Alzheimer's Association is the leading voluntary health organization in Alzheimer's care, support, and research. Every dollar raised goes toward advancing critical research and providing support to the millions of families affected by the disease worldwide.
