I'm proud to be fundraising for the Alzheimer's Association
I'm participating in this event because there's something about pushing your body through a hard physical challenge that puts everything in perspective. When you're grinding through miles, you're reminded that difficult things are worth doing - and that the ability to race and compete, and to do so with gratitude, honors those who can not.
That same energy is exactly what fighting Alzheimer's needs.
More than 6 million Americans are living with Alzheimer's right now, with that number expected to nearly double by 2050. That's not a statistic we can ignore.
Every dollar donated goes straight to the Alzheimer's Association — funding better care, support programs, and the research needed to find a cure.
If you can spare something, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks for considering it.
Ryan
