Patsy’s Celebration of Love, Chocolate, and Dancing

After losing our mother, Patsy Snipes, to Alzheimer’s, my brother and I wanted to honor her memory in a way that could help others.

Patsy was love in motion. She made people feel seen with a kind word, a compliment, a little dance, a piece of chocolate, or one of her familiar sayings. Even as Alzheimer’s changed her life, her warmth and spirit stayed with her.

That is why I created this tribute page in her name. Funds raised will support the Alzheimer’s Association and its work providing care and support for families, advancing research, and offering help through its free 24/7 Helpline at 800.272.3900.

A memorial gift in Patsy’s name would mean so much to our family and to others facing this disease.

Thank you for helping honor her life, her love, and her beautiful dancing spirit.

I created a tribute site in loving memory of my mother, Patsy Jean Hunt Snipes.

It shares pieces of her life, her humor, her love of dancing, chocolate, flowers, mystery novels, and the simple ways she made people feel seen and loved. She was truly one of a kind — still kicking and ticking in all of us who loved her.

You can visit the tribute here:

If you knew Patsy, please feel welcome to read, remember, and share a story or memory. ❤️
